Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role :

As a Junior Appointment Setter, you will be a critical part of our sales engine : making high-volume outbound calls to business prospects, engaging decision-makers, qualifying opportunities, and booking meetings for our closer(s). Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Make outbound calls to target companies / prospects to initiate contact, build interest and set appointments.
  • Engage with decision-makers (managers, directors, executives) to identify needs and secure commitment for further conversation.
  • Qualify leads based on criteria such as company size, budget, authority, need, and timing.
  • Schedule and hand off meetings / appointments to the sales team, ensuring calendar invites, confirmations and all required details are provided.
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all calls, conversations, outcomes and next steps in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and / or exceed daily / weekly / monthly KPIs such as number of calls, conversations, appointments booked, show-rate etc.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to refine scripts, outreach messaging and lead lists for better conversion.
  • Handle objections professionally, adapt your approach, and remain persistent and resilient in face of rejection.
