We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team.
This role supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards.
The Staff Accountant will review and record financial transactions, assist with month-end closings, prepare reports and analyses, and support audits and tax filings.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and experienced in full-cycle accounting.
This position requires a full-time onsite presence at our Redmond, WA location.
Responsibilities Review cash entries daily to identify any unrecorded transactions. Recording day-to-day financial transactions to ensure the completeness and accuracy of accounting documentation with proper account classification. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assisting in financial audit and corporate tax return fillings. Assisting in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines. Assisting in preparing monthly project FTE allocation analysis, operational reports, and other ad-hoc queries. Maintain close calendars to monitor progress against deadlines. Ensure compliance with GAAP / IFRS and internal control requirements. Meet processing and reporting deadlines. Perform other duties as needed. Participate in company-wide initiatives / projects to improve processes. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field will be considered. 1+ years of relevant working experience in the field of accounting. Proven bookkeeping experience with a solid understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping and A / P principles. Proficient with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word / Excel, and NetSuite ERP is preferred.
