Employbridge is seeking a Site Manager to join the team of one of our Premier Clients.

Salary : 100K Plus DOE

Benefits : Full Comprehensive Package

Travel : Monthly Per Diem

Summary : The Site Manger studies the mechanical, electrical, piping, plumbing and fire protection specifications to plan procedures for construction on the basis of start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.

This position requires 70% travel.

Job Duties :

  • Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from pre-start-up to completion.
  • Assist Project Manager in locating and evaluating potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Assist in developing scopes of work for review and approval Project Manager.
  • Assist in the development of project schedule within the entire construction schedule. Prepare estimates in areas of self-performed work, and assist in complete project estimate.

Ability to assist in coordination / management of all trades throughout build process.

  • Assist in selection of qualified bidders and negotiate final price's
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports, i.e. cost to complete, monthly billings and status reports.
  • Review all drawings, i.e. P&IDs, Mechanical, Electrical, Shop, Architectural, Structural, etc. when they are issued to the field and coordinate and maintain a current set at all times.
  • Assist in pricing work, draft changes and change orders to be reviewed by Project Manager.
  • Assist in ensuring customer satisfaction with the project.
  • Schedule work, including subcontractors
  • Assist in the productivity and quantity tracking of the subcontractors installed work.
  • Determine materials, equipment and tools needed
  • Serve as on-site Safety Officer when one is not specifically assigned to the project. And also, will be required to participate in the company's safety portion of the QMS program.
  • Responsible for procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specification, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
  • Individual will consult with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within the work force.
  • Prepares or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports and / or direction from Project Manager.
  • Establish and maintain high safety and quality standards in accordance to company, industry standard, and job specifications.
  • Will insure the company QMS program is used and maintained in accordance to company standards. Individual will be able to generate reports and trace ability for continuous improvement.

Requirements :

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school AND a minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience OR a minimum 15 years related construction experience with increasing responsibility in lieu of a degree.
  • Industry experience working with data centers and or mission critical facilities is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction supervision is highly desired.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal / contract documents.
  • Must be willing to travel
