Maintenance Intern

Our apartment community, Benson Hills is currently looking for a "ROCKSTAR" Maintenance intern.
The Maintenance Internship position is designed to mentor and teach interns a wide variety of skills / experiences in the turn process, service and special projects for Peak Management’s portfolio of residential properties.
Experiences :
- Assist with cabinet and counter top installs
- Deck / balcony, door repair
- Pipe soldering
- Repair of faucets and fixtures
- Replacement and repair of appliances
- Electrical work
Qualifications :
- Strong interest in the trades and or in building construction / repair
- Natural mechanical ability
- Experience with general power tools
- Enjoys working with their hands and repairing things (previous woodworking a plus)
- Great work ethic and attitude
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements :
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
