Job Title : Display Optical Test Engineer
Locations : Onsite at Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 24 Months Contract on W2 (Possible Extension)
Job Description :
The main function for this role is to validate display digital logic IP with test equiment, display optical & electrical performance with display methodology, maintain / install related equipment, and analyze data of simulation and measurement.
Must-Have Skills
1 Basic programming skills, software optimizations, python / MATLAB
2 Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
3 Basic knowledge of display optical characterization. Display Troubleshooting . Optical Measurements
Nice-to-have Skills
1 Digital Background, digital designer
2 Basic knowledge of processor chips
Job Responsibilities :
- Digital Logic IP validation with test equipment
- Electrical characteristics measurement on display samples with test equipment
- Optical performance measurement on display samples with test equipment
- Data analysis for measurement / simulation results
- Install and maintain related test equipment
- Assemble and modify existing pieces of equipment to meet special needs.
- Build, test, and modify test process, implement SW automation, develop fixtures and equipment for better efficiency.
- Trouble shooting for equipment, jig or fixture issues.
- Lab planning, lab maintenance, and lab functionality.
- Monitor functioning of equipment and make necessary modifications to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications.
Skills :
- Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Programming skill of Python / MATLAB
- Basic knowledge of display optical characterization.
- Basic knowledge of display technology and driving.
- Basic knowledge of display troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
- Previous experience with developing customized test stations.
Education / Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in EE / CS engineering required.
