What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that responds to the physical and psychological needs of members served. The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect services according to individual service plans and Medicaid standards.

Shifts Available :

On Call; AM / PM / NOC Shift Hours vary as needed; Monday - Friday or Saturday and Sunday

AM 7 : 00 am- 3 : 30 pm; PM 3 : 00 pm -11 : 30 pm; NOC 11 : 00 pm to 7 : 30 am

6% differential for PM shift; 11-15% differential for NOC shift based on weekday or weekend shift!

Expected wage range - $16.58-$19.98 - Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed.

Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

• High school diploma or G.E.D and two (2) years of experience in a psychiatric mental health setting or BA / BS with one (1) year experience in mental health setting
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and interventions, as well as mental and physical health conditions and terminologies
• Certification as a CNA or its equivalent is acceptable documentation of nursing skills knowledge

This is a 24-hour County-owned Restorative Transformation Center (RTC), Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) (also referred to as RTC / MHRC) specializing in serving people who have been identified as being Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) or are otherwise court ordered to treatment at this level of care.

Services will be provided for a maximum of 30 residential beds, 24

hours a day, 365 days a year (24 / 7). The 30 beds can be used for male and female clients interchangeably. A maximum of 20 beds are specific for IST consumers identified by Superior Court, Riverside Sheriff's Office (RSO), or Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health (RUHS-BH) teams.

Ten beds are designated for consumers needing residential services with a

secondary focus on consumers under Laura's Law / AOT, and Other RUHS-BH and Superior Court Diversion Programs.
