Overview :

Join us as our Engineering Manager, a crucial role where you'll shape and guide the global engineering strategy while driving innovation and customer value.

As part of the Leadership Team, you'll set, manage, and execute engineering initiatives that contribute to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Alignment : Ensure engineering deliverables align with business objectives and manufacturing strategies.
  • Project Management : Implement and maintain a global engineering project tracking process for completed, ongoing, and future initiatives.
  • Market Analysis : Analyze product and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Documentation : Develop consistent technical documentation protocols and processes.
  • Compliance : Ensure products meet or exceed safety and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration : Work with Operations and Purchasing to ensure quality, performance, and application standards are met.
  • Policies / Processes : Develop policies to improve department efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Advisory Role : Advise product development teams on the availability and cost of materials.
  • Project Execution : Oversee engineering changes, product line extensions, and new product launches to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Support Development : Facilitate the creation and maintenance of technical documentation resources.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with Operations and Purchasing to analyze make-or-buy decisions and resolve supply chain challenges.
  • Performance Management : Conduct performance reviews, identify corrective actions, and develop team skills.
  • Motivation : Encourage enthusiasm, engagement, and accountability within the team.
  • Travel : Travel to company sites as needed.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience : At least 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in engineering software Solidworks, AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership Skills : Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Strategic Thinking : Critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to align with company goals.
  • Industry Knowledge : Understanding of logistics and company products.

Physical Requirements :

  • Primarily sedentary work, with occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 5 pounds.
