Acloch is seeking a Shipping Associate to join the team with a local Groveport client
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Ensure good communication with co-workers and management.
Must be organized, detail oriented and hardworking.
Ability to navigate basic computer programs to compile and ship orders.
Willingness to learn techniques to evaluate best shipping methods and make sound decisions with the companies and customers best interest in mind.
Ability to print shipping labels, evaluate packing standards, confirm orders are filled properly and be the final check for outgoing packages.
Ability to evaluate and determine the most efficient packing technique to ensure orders will ship without damage.
Ability to execute proper packing techniques so that packages will ship quickly, cost effectively and safely to its destination.
Ability to keep packing station stocked with necessary items to efficiently perform packing and shipping tasks throughout the day.
Must have the ability and willingness to work at a fast pace, consistently producing high quality work and results.
Training Requirements :
General warehouse safety
Saw Safety Class
Fire Safety
Physical Demands :
Required to stand, bend, twist, and move around the plant 8+ hours per day
Frequent lifting of material 25-50 pounds
Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted
