Overview :
My client, a industry leader within the Data & Analytics space are currently looking to hire a Director of Data, who will be responsible for managing and data and analytics team, re-defining data architecture and fostering a data-centric culture across the business.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Lead, develop and grow a team of data engineers, analytics engineers and data scientists; responsible for delivering high quality and actionable data, dashboards, analysis, and tools
- Be an analytics thought leader and a brainstorm partner for stakeholders across the organization, translating business needs and problems into data-driven solutions
- Create efficient and scalable processes for data ingestion, transformation, and analysis that promote collaboration and enable the organization to effectively leverage data insights.
- Build data fluency in the organization to encourage self-service including training, building documentation, &creating guides
- Accountable for delivering a highly productive data governance process with full engagement from the business guiding them through the governance process to arrive at that outcome.
- Build structured and unstructured data resources and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data that help generate insights and address reporting needs of the organization.
Skills & Experience :
- 10+ years experience leading and overseeing data engineering / analytics environments
- Experience with system design and data structures as well as ML / deep learning / statistical modelling.
- You have experience managing full-cycle data tool procurement, including budget management and negotiations.
Package :
- $200,000 - $250,000
- 30-35% bonus
