Accounting Associate

LHH is seeking a permanent Accounting Associate for a client in Wheaton, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within fund accounting, especially if you're passionate about numbers and enjoy a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Role : Accounting Associate

Location : Wheaton, IL

Position Type : Permanent

Salary : $60,000-$65,000 per year

Worksite Type : Fully Onsite

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and enter invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding
• Process accounts payable and employee expense reimbursements
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
• Maintain organized financial records, both digital and physical
• Assist with bank deposits and cash applications
• Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Prepare and post entries to the general ledger
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely financial reporting
• Perform general administrative and clerical accounting tasks
