Golin is seeking an energetic and accomplished Catalyst Director to lead integrated communications initiatives that make headlines and move markets. This role serves as the central hub of innovation, partnering with client teams to orchestrate PESO (Paid, Earned, Shared, Owned) campaigns that drive real business impact and cultural conversation. The Catalyst Director turns ambitious visions into remarkable realities, championing breakthrough thinking and delivering campaigns that exceed expectations and win awards.
Role summary — Lead strategic PESO campaign program management, governance, reporting, optimization, client leadership, and operational excellence with a focus on integrated communications and award-winning outcomes.
Responsibilities
Be the creative catalyst who transforms ambitious client goals into breakthrough integrated campaigns that generate buzz and drive results.
Turn strategic visions into action plans with clear wins, milestones, and meaningful impact metrics.
Partner with client Communications and Marketing teams to weave PESO into broader initiatives.
Present compelling campaign strategies to executive audiences, securing support for innovative approaches.
Establish standardized operational processes including measurement frameworks, governance, and performance checkpoints for assigned projects.
Develop and maintain performance monitoring systems using reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI analysis for paid, earned, shared, and owned media.
Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness and resource allocation across Communications and Marketing initiatives.
Create comprehensive performance reports demonstrating ROI and strategic impact of integrated efforts.
Become the trusted strategic partner for clients, guiding decision-making and inspiring engagement through strategic counsel.
Lead client presentations and strategy sessions that build momentum and buy-in for innovative approaches.
Inspire and lead diverse teams of strategists, creatives, and digital experts, fostering collaboration and strong execution.
Ensure brand consistency and integrated execution across PESO elements, aligning with client standards and narratives.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
7+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications and integrated marketing, preferably in large organizations or agencies
Proven ability to manage fast-paced, multi-stakeholder projects with tight deadlines
Strong understanding of PESO strategy and its role in reputation management and customer engagement
Experience working in high-pressure, fast-moving environments with attention to detail
Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex project execution
Knowledge of performance metrics and KPIs for tracking and reporting across integrated campaigns
Proficiency with project management tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, Asana), Google Workspace, and executive-level presentation development
Excellent client responsiveness and ability to address needs with timely solutions
Strong communication skills with the ability to direct execution strategies and tactics
Experience with Fortune 500 clients or corporate communications environments
Background in both agency and in-house marketing / communications roles
Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and advanced analytics platforms
Professional certifications in project management (PMP) or digital marketing
Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
