SCADA and Automation Engineer (10+ Years)

Overview

POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is seeking a SCADA and Automation Engineer. This position is based in Phoenix, AZ with the ability to work remotely from a mutually acceptable location. The role supports SCADA, automation, and communications for utility and industrial / commercial clients across the United States, including conventional and renewable generation facilities, substations, and transmission and distribution systems.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful completion of assigned projects and for maintaining and improving client relationships. This role requires technical competence in primary production duties as well as leadership in working with clients and mentoring and supervising project team members.

• Lead and execute SCADA, automation, and communications projects for utility and industrial clients.
• Analyze systems across conventional and renewable generation facilities, substations, and transmission / distribution networks.
• Travel to project sites to troubleshoot, test, and commission networks and control systems.
