Lead Associate Attorney

Job Overview : A leading creditors' rights law firm is seeking a talented Lead Associate Attorney for its Georgia office. This full-time, hybrid position provides an exciting opportunity for candidates with 3-5 years of litigation or collections experience. The ideal candidate will manage hearings, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to the firm's Georgia practice. The role offers a collaborative work environment with ample opportunities for professional growth and development. A Georgia Bar membership is required, with additional compensation for candidates licensed in multiple states.

Location : Duties :

• Assist with the firm's Georgia practice and oversee litigation matters
• Handle hearings and contested matters in the state of Georgia
• Mentor and guide junior attorneys
• Monitor the progress of cases and develop strategies to bring matters to resolution
• Review documents, financials, notices, and demand letters prior to filing actions
• Draft and review pleadings and correspondence to initiate legal actions
• Ensure all internal systems are updated with findings, documentation, and recommendations
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism
• Safeguard compliance with relevant state and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements
• Participate in discovery and trial preparation
