Real Estate Accountant

We’re hiring a detail-oriented accountant to join our expanding real estate team! You’ll reconcile accounts, keep track of accounts payable and receivable, and organize all our financial records in a part-time, primarily work-from-home role! Compensation : $20 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings
• Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost
• Look over accounts payable and receivable regularly to ensure every invoice and expense report to evaluate accuracy
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing payments by printing, distributing, and obtaining check signatures when necessary
• Utilize computer software to enter financial data and keep our records organized

Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Has strong abilities in communication, both in writing and by phone
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software
• Some accounting experience is a plus
• Capable of using property management software, such as Yardi
