Kitchen Worker PT
Overview Kitchen Worker The Kitchen Worker is responsible for performing all phases of kitchen cleaning to maintain safe and sanitary conditions while under the Steward's supervision.
Responsibilities Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines. Adhere to policies and procedures. Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to the guests.
Responsible for all breakdown, feed, catch and proper sorting of all china, silverware and glassware as it is brought to the Dish Room.
Responsible for washing pots and pans and properly sorting and storing them on the pot shelves. Responsible for washing walls, ceilings, baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards.
Responsible for sweeping and mopping all floors. Responsible for hauling trash from the kitchen areas to the Trash Room.
Responsible for polishing silver, glass and brass in all outlets as needed. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining dish machines in all outlets.
Responsible for cleaning all food and beverage service carts, speed tacks, double wide racks, food warmers, queen mary’s and dish dollies.
Responsible for washing kettle pots on hot line as needed. Responsible for set up of all china glass and silver for all food outlets.
Responsible for cleaning loading dock bay area with pressure washer. Responsible for food and beverage inventory of china, glass, silver and linen.
Inform Steward of needed supplies. Bring all supplies down from the storage areas. Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.
Turnover / Takeover station according to established procedure. Complete special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Qualifications Minimum age requirement is 18. Must have good people skills and a well-groomed appearance.
Must read, write, speak and understand English. Possess Health Card or be able to successfully obtain Nevada state-required food handling card.
Experience preferred, but will train individual.
