We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor / Manager to oversee and optimize our receivables processes in Louisville, Kentucky. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage daily operations, mentor teams, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance.

Oversee and streamline billing processes, ensuring timely invoicing and accurate data entry.

Perform detailed account analysis and prepare reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.

Ensure the completion of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.

Generate and deliver precise financial statements and reports to support business decision-making.

Review and enhance month-end close procedures to improve efficiency across operations.

Collaborate with management to address inquiries and provide special reporting as required.

Develop strategies for cross-training staff on accounts receivable functions to strengthen team versatility.

Partner with leadership to align department objectives with company-wide goals.

Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance and oversight.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a strong background in financial management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, as well as Microsoft Word.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage tight deadlines while handling high volumes of work.

Ability to work independently and multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

Familiarity with Sage 100 and comprehensive knowledge of billing and receivables processes.
