Remote CICS Batch Engineer

A company is looking for a Remote ICS Batch Engineer to support the migration of legacy CA DADS Plus environments to IBM CICS Batch Application Control.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the migration of CA DADS Plus control files to CICS Batch Application Control (CBAC) for z / OS

Create CBAC File Maintenance Utility (FMU) commands and develop JCL for control file management

Conduct validation and testing of CBAC control files and collaborate with application teams for production integration

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in mainframe batch and CICS environments

Strong skills in JCL, TSO / ISPF, and REXX scripting

Hands-on experience with CICS Transaction Server and batch application operations

Prior experience with migrating or replacing CA DADS Plus or other legacy mainframe tools is preferred

Knowledge of CICS Batch Application Control (CBAC) setup and configuration
