Scoot is excited to be hiring, training and placing paraprofessionals to work within Douglas County, CO. For long-term roles, you'll have access to up-front and ongoing paid training in completing our para micro-credential , designed and delivered by our outstanding learning and development team.

What youll do :

• Work closely with students with moderate / severe special needs, either 1 : 1 or across entire classrooms
• Assist various moderate to severe scenarios such as Toileting; Personal 1 : 1 Care; Non-Verbal; Challenging or Aggressive Behaviors in the Classroom
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEP's (individual education plans)
• Follow direction from, and assist lead educators
