Job Description :
- Focused within the Blood Bank Department
- Ensure that all specimens are put in appropriate storage
- Follow all quality control policies and procedures to ensure reliable patient results
- Recognize critical or life-threatening results, verify results, and report to the appropriate clinician
- Document all results in the LIS
Qualifications :
- NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or valid permit issued by NYSDOE Clinical Laboratory to Technology
- Blood Bank experience in clinical lab
- Open to working overnight shift
- ASCP is preferred
