A well established contractor that has completed projects on some of the most well-known buildings and monuments in the Washington area is looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager. This is a full-time onsite role at the company's office near Bowie that will supervise the work of 5-6 accountants and AP / AR staff. You will work cross functionally with project managers to oversee the safe and efficient completion of multiple projects at a time.
What You'll Do :
- Own the full accounting cycle with a focus on WIP reporting
- Work cross-functionally with Project Managers to ensure financial accuracy
- Lead and mentor a small team of Staff Accountants and AP / AR specialists while resolving issues with confidence
- Leverage Sage 300 CRE to drive process improvements
