POSITION SUMMARY :
The Solutions Manager will act as a liaison between Freedom Forever and the assigned Dealer Partners. The Solutions Manager primary responsibility is to manage the post-sale pipeline with a goal of increasing the Dealer’s overall realization rates and installation velocity.
In addition to regular pipeline reviews and project support, the Solutions Manager will continually seek out breakdowns within Freedom's process and the Sales teams, to then communicate those breakdowns, including proposed solutions, to leadership.
A successful Solutions Manager will have a clear understanding of Freedom’s sales and installation process, be solutions driven and possess a keen attention to detail.
This role will report to the Manager of Sales Support and will work closely with Project Specialists and various other personnel.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Act as a Special Point of Contact (SPOC) for the assigned Dealer
- Manage and conduct weekly or biweekly pipeline reviews with sales teams and provide as-needed project support
- Manage SOS inbox and other channels of communication as assigned
- Triage complex projects, create practical solutions, initiate proper action and follow through to ensure project progression
- Develop rapport with the Team Leaders within the assigned Dealer or segment and maintain a positive environment focused on project progression, trend correction and install velocity
- Act as the liaison between Freedom’s internal operations teams and network of third-party dealers to provide overall process improvement for Freedom Forever Operations
- Identify trends within the installation process that negatively impacts project realization and velocity and present findings to operations and sales teams
- Meet daily expectations as set out and communicated by management
- Proactively communicate pertinent project updates with Sales, Branch and HQ Operations
- Promote teamwork and cooperative effort
- Participate in team meetings, discussions and other activities as required in order to support the team and improve the quality of the operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Education & Certifications :
High School Graduate or GED
Experience :
- 3+ years of solar sales support experience required
- 3+ years of customer service experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Ability to work a rotating schedule- including early mornings, late evenings, holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are required
- Must be able to operate a computer and other communications equipment (i.e. phone, instant messaging, video conferencing, email, etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in a professional and effective manner, both verbally and written
- A perpetual focus on operational excellence and ability to persevere in an occasionally high stress environment
- Maintain tact and professionalism when dealing with difficult / irate people and those in stressful situations
- Follow written and verbal directions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
- Develop and maintain cooperative, effective working relationships with others
- Basic clerical and typing skills
- Ability to multitask
- Computer literate and typing skills of at least 35 words per minute
- Excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress in a high-level environment
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Must be highly organized and able to multitask on several projects at a time
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
