Azure Cloud Architect

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Migration Architect with proven experience in migrating from on-premises data centers to the Azure public cloud platform.

As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing complex migration strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Responsibilities :

• Design and execute migration strategies from on-premises data centers to Azure cloud platform.
• Develop Azure architecture designs for scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead migration projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage technical challenges.
• Identify and mitigate migration risks, ensuring projects stay on track.
• Document migration processes and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Continuously improve migration methodologies based on industry trends and lessons learned.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect with focus on Azure.
• Strong understanding of Azure technologies and on-premises infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with migration tools like Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to :

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;
• other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
