Your Impact at SAM
Assist in identifying marked utilities and structures in the field
Perform operator level maintenance on assigned company tools and equipment as required
Assist in the implementation of approved traffic control plans
Actively work toward obtaining Operator Qualifications required by the client(s)
Follow established procedures to identify and repair broken trace wires on unlocateable gas lines
Operates vacuum truck and related tools and equipment such as a jackhammer, pogo-tamper, concrete saw, compressor blower, vacuum hose and air lance and hand tools
Use proper forms and survey equipment to document work completed
Other tasks as assigned
What You Bring to SAM
Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the company MVR requirements, clean background check and drug screening
Work outdoors under the full range of weather conditions typically experienced throughout all seasons of the year
Ability to walk for extended periods over irregular terrain while carrying and / or employing any of the full range of surface geophysical and surveying equipment, the weight of such equipment is typically less than 30 lbs
Pick up and carry equipment, tools or supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. for short distances and assist others to do the same.
This includes the loading and unloading of such items into and out of vehicles, storage areas, etc.
Remove and replace manhole lids and covers weighing up 50 lbs., with assistance
