Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated Director ofNursing to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will possessa postgraduate degree in nursing or a related field;
or theknowledge and skills associated with an advanced degree; or awritten plan to obtain these qualification Current unencumberedlicense to practice by the State Board or Nursing Previousleadership experience in psychiatric health care facility andExperience in patient assessments family motivations treatmentplanning and communication with external review organization orcomparable entities.
The Director of Nursing isresponsible for planning organizing and directing the delivery ofquality general and psychiatric nursing care consistent with thefacilitys goals and objectives.
Duties include staffing trainingand development revision of nursing policies and proceduresstandards of performance and communication regarding nursing issuesto medical staff department directors andadministration.
