MUST :

Some experience working in the healthcare and or dental field

Experience sterilizing medical or dental instruments a plus

Comfortable sterilizing instruments all day

Ability to take direction in the use of sterilizers, sonic cleaners and other related equipment

Ability to maintain a clean, and safe workplace

Technician will work as a team member within the entire department

Strong computer and documentation skills

DUTIES :

Handle decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of all dental instruments and equipment

Reassemble and wrap instrument sets

Take direction from others and follow through in a concise manner

Set priorities and anticipate needs of others

Acts to protect and advance patient's best interest

Maintain knowledge of equipment, expected patient outcome, and anticipated complications

Document information in computer system
