We Need your Help

Newbrook is looking for an entry level individual to join our team in providing systems engineering support for the full information technology life-cycle of software IT systems. You will assist in managing the release processes for software code (micro-services, web apps, software services) through development, test, and production cloud environments. Team members will assist in your understanding of the full responsibilities to become proficient as a Release Manager. In your role, you will work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of capabilities into production.

Project Description

The objective of our project is to deliver value to mission analysts and customers that use a suite of software tools and services. We provide technical analysis and engineering assistance with requirements, release management, assessment and authorization, change management, and testing for a portfolio of micro-services and web applications deployed in the cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and assist in documenting the strategic and tactical goals of the organization
  • Assist in conducting organizational reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses
  • Work with a team dedicated to the successful operational delivery of cutting edge cloud centric capabilities
  • Support business strategy creation, business planning, business support planning, strategy and operating model development, operating model adjustment and governance
  • Recommend process improvements to improve effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Assist in the collection of project metrics
  • Assist in the identification, tracking, mitigation, and resolution of technical risks
  • Assist with the preparation of artifacts to support the Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS / SCI Clearance w / CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree or related technical experience
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written / verbal communications
  • Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of micro-service architectures
  • Understanding of Agile engineering and development methods
  • Understanding of cloud technologies
  • Clearance
