MAZO Capital Solutions is a full-service commercial finance company dedicated to serving America's small business community. Who you are

The sales team is responsible for growing MAZO's customer base and revenue through the sale of commercial financing products. As a Manager, Business Development, you will focus on prospecting and driving originations through direct end-users and vendor channels. You will be responsible to identify, research, qualify and close financing opportunities.

Day to day, you will be focused on identifying and prospecting potential clients and partners. You will be creating and nurturing relationships with business owners. Through a consultative approach, you will assess the needs of business owners and provide capital solutions to help them achieve their goals. As a Manager, Business Development, you will also be managing vendor partnerships and collaborating with our partners on how to grow their business.

The ideal candidate is someone who has 2 years+ experience in the industry with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead generation and prospecting small businesses.
  • Research prospective clients and identify their business needs.
  • Outreach to the prospective client via phone, and email.
  • Build relationships with the key decision makers and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the financing process.
  • Structure, negotiate, and close equipment finance loan transactions.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Work collaboratively with credit, syndication, and funding department.
  • Meet sales goals and expectations as determined by management.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in the commercial financing industry.
  • 2+ year sales or experience carrying a revenue target with a track record of top performance preferred.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.
  • Leader with the demonstrated capacity to motivate and work well with others.
  • Proficient with MS office products and Salesforce CRM is a plus
  • Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation skills.
  • Coachable, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Salary Description

    $40,000-60,000 (Negotiable) + Uncapped Commissions
