• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.\n
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services.\n
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.\n
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).\n
• Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.\n
• Monitor and adhere to budget.\n
• Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.\nRequirements\n\nLicensure / Certification / Registration : \n
• Required Credential(s) : \n
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.\n
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.\n\nEducation : \n
