UFT- Test Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Create and design applications and software testing processes.
• Monitor system and software functionality.
• Ensure offerings are entirely functional and provide quality assurance for software products.
• Establish and implement rigorous reporting and automated monitoring systems.
• Advise best practices and optimizations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
• Ability to understand the desired future state in the context of the current business environment and define incremental steps to achieve desired business results.
• To keep an eye on potential pitfalls and ways for improvement, considering the customer, development team, and historical perspective.
• Always build relationships, including through onboarding, and team dynamics.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in the financial industry surrounding .NET, Java, and JavaScript technologies.
• Providing manual and automated testing services to assure the quality of strategic and high priority applications.
• Strong understanding of test automation best practices and can architect, develop, and debug medium to complex level automation scripts.
• Understanding of the software development process and major technology terms.
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), or a closely related field, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and / or experience or Software Testing Certificate and 5+ years of related work experience.
• UFT using VBScript for Web and Desktop application automation.
• Data Driven UFT Framework is used to drive test cases and suites from an external data feed. The data feed can be data sheets like xls, xlsx, and csv files.
• UFT using C# for API automation.
• Xray for managing manual tests and automate script runs.
• Strong UFT Test Automation Engineer with UFT experience and background.
