Job descriptionEssential Functions and Responsibilities : Contract Preparation and Execution. Drive the preparation and review of high-volume commercial agreements, including new placements and renewals for PaceMate's software subscriptions and services. Analyze customer modifications against PaceMate's standard terms, using critical judgment to determine escalation needs. Navigate complex contract variations with strategic thinking rather than rigid adherence to templates. End-to-End Contract Lifecycle Leadership. Own the complete commercial contract journey from initial drafting through execution, renewal, and termination. Orchestrate signature processes to ensure timely and accurate contract completion. Anticipate renewal requirements and proactively manage contract cadences in partnership with sales teams. Template Innovation and Management. Evolve PaceMate's commercial contract template library beyond basic maintenance. Implement strategic template updates that reflect business growth and market changes. Think ahead to identify template improvements that prevent future complications. Strategic Advisory Role. Counsel cross-functional teams on contracting matters, providing nuanced guidance on terms, conditions, and agreement status. Represent Legal and Compliance as a go-to anchor for contracting challenges. Problem-solve unique situations that don't fit standard processes and may require creative interpretation of contract language and business needs. Cross-Functional Partnership Excellence. Collaborate strategically with sales, finance, customer support, business intelligence, clinical, and marketing teams. Bridge the gap between legal requirements and business objectives through innovative solutions. Anticipate how contract terms impact different departments and proactively address concerns. Operational Excellence and Innovation. Maintain sophisticated contract administration databases with strategic organization. Develop improved processes and policies that enhance efficiency and reduce risk. Support VP initiatives with creative approaches to complex contracting challenges.
