Our telecommunications client is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join their Finance Business Operations team on a 12-month contract. This position focuses on managing high volumes of order and billing data during the political advertising season — ensuring all financial and compliance information is accurate, complete, and properly recorded across internal systems.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys process work, data accuracy, and cross-team coordination.
Team Function
The Finance Business Operations team serves as the operational and financial control arm of the organization — responsible for :
- Tracking and reconciling regulated advertising spend
- Ensuring compliance with FCC and FEC political advertising guidelines
- Processing and validating high volumes of billing and order data

Key Responsibilities
Enter and maintain accurate order and billing data in multiple internal systemsValidate documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance requirementsReview and reconcile order information to ensure alignment across departmentsTrack changes, updates, and adjustments to orders and billing recordsMonitor daily workflow queues and ensure timely task completionGenerate routine reports and support financial or compliance auditsPartner with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing informationSupport process improvements and data integrity initiatives within the teamQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)0–4 years of experience in operations, data processing, order management, or billing supportProficiency with Excel and comfort working with large data setsExcellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation habitsStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlinesClear communicator who can collaborate across departmentsPreferred Skills
