American National is seeking a full-time, Accounts Payable Analyst. You will oversee and amend invoice discrepancies for the enterprise, monitor and resolve issues within the virtual credit card payment program portal, answer incoming questions through the accounts payable inbox, and be a back-up for 1099 processing and distribution.

To thrive in this position, you must have accounts payable and purchase ordering work experience.

Placement Location : League City, Texas

What will you do?

Create transactions for payments, deposits, stops, or returns and analyze accounting entries for transactions

Generate reports and complete ongoing reconciliations of general ledger or vendor accounts

Review vendor information for correct payment terms and / or payment methods

Review and correct accounting errors related to payments

Assist with projects that may arise in support of Payables and Receivables

Analyze data & prepare appropriate accounting transactions (Journal entries, payments, deposits, etc.) in accordance with established procedures

Audit payment processing to ensure that all aspects of the payment process produce an accurate and supported payment

Perform basic ledger account & electronic billing file reconciliations as well as assist in clearing items

Qualifications

Accounts Payable experience, reviewing and processing PO and Non-PO invoices accurately

1099 knowledge beneficial

Manage accounts payable email inboxes (Inquiries and requests for payment)

Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel skills required)
