Senior Manager, Technical Revenue (Enterprise)

What's The Opportunity?
Reporting to the VP, Financial Controller, this position will have a highly impactful role enabling our business partners in making informed decisions as we scale for enterprise customer growth, while supporting accounting operations and compliance with generally accepted accounting rules and internal controls requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policy. You will also align with key business stakeholders on revenue accounting impacts and identify and implement continuous process improvements for the order-to-cash process related to enterprise sales.
What Will I Be Doing?
- Partner closely with Enterprise Sales and GTM teams, Deal Desk, Legal and Billing engineering teams to provide technical revenue accounting guidance for enterprise revenue deals
- Leverage your technical expertise to proactively provide desirable revenue accounting results and revenue recognition policy guidance on our most complex revenue transactions to business partners.
- Lead and improve processes for accounting for revenue from partnerships and professional services, including maintaining relationships with the partnerships and professional services teams
- Partner within the revenue accounting team to ensure new products or changes to existing products are appropriately set up in the revenue accounting systems for month and quarter-end close activities related to enterprise revenue to ensure the integrity and accuracy of revenue-related financial data and reporting.
- Complete second level review of non-standard contracts, document accounting conclusions and report on the impacts contract term trends.
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos and accounting policies to document revenue recognition positions, complex transactions.
- Bring your experience with large scale enterprise software revenue models, to develop scalable revenue accounting processes for Enterprise agreements, leveraging technology to automate and streamline revenue accounting processes.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to revenue recognition and reporting.
- Support annual external audit procedures
- Develop and improve internal controls over revenue processes relating to enterprise revenue
What Skills Do I Need?
Bachelor's degree in accounting7+ years in a revenue accounting role at a technology or a software company, including experience managing a teamCPA qualificationTechnical revenue-accounting knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606Experience in reviewing and analyzing SaaS and Professional Services contracts to identify revenue-related issues for resolution and proper accounting treatmentAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data setsBonus Skills & Attributes

Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
