Legit Security is an ASPM leader and driving this emerging, high demand market while building a new innovative way to secure applications in the era of AI-first development.

Legit has an unmatched ability to discover and visualize the entire software attack surface, prioritize the most important risk and guide developers to fix it fast. Traditional Application Security is always limited by developer collaboration – this is why Legit is now innovating in AI coding agents – leveraging them to create secure code from the start, and fix all known risks. This gives engineering and security teams their time back to push the business forward fast and securely.

We’re looking for a Sales Director who’s not just a leader, but also a doer, someone excited to build our sales function from the ground up while personally driving key deals in the early stages. This role is ideal for a sales leader who thrives in startup environments, loves rolling up their sleeves, and is eager to shape the future of our go‑to‑market strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the entire sales lifecycle— from prospecting, pitching, and negotiating to closing deals.
  • Build and execute the company’s go‑to‑market and sales strategy for enterprise and mid‑market customers.
  • Personally lead early‑stage sales efforts while gradually building, hiring, and mentoring a world‑class sales team.
  • Develop scalable sales processes, playbooks, and metrics for future growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment across the customer journey.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers (CISOs, CIOs, VPs of Engineering, etc.).
  • Bring customer and market insights to help refine product strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Represent the company at industry events and customer engagements.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 3 years in cybersecurity or DevSecOps domains.
  • A strong track record of closing enterprise deals and consistently exceeding targets.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling a sales organization— from 0 to 1 (and beyond).
  • Hands‑on, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves approach—you love to sell, not just manage.
  • Deep understanding of the security and application security landscape (ASPM experience is a strong plus).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and ability to thrive in fast‑changing environments.
