Intro

While traditional SEO remains a core pillar, the rise of AI search toolslike ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexityis rapidly redefining how users discover and interact with content. Today, visibility in search is about structured clarity; tomorrow, it will be about semantic relevance and AI-driven context. We aim to lead that evolutionensuring our technology asset intelligence content is discoverable across both classic and AI-driven search environments.

We are looking for a strategic, data-savvy Search Optimization Strategist AI & SEO to take the reins of our global SEO roadmap and elevate the game by helping define the next frontier of AI-driven content visibility. This is a core SEO role that leverages a deep understanding of search behavior, analytics, and structured content. It will also explore the complementary space of AI search adoptionensuring Lansweepers content is easily surfaced in AI assistants and generative search tools.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution (Primary Focus)

Own and execute the global SEO strategy, including technical, on-page, and off-page initiatives that align with our GTM and product messaging.

Perform regular SEO audits, competitive analysis, search intent research, and keyword clustering for both traditional and AI search engines.

Collaborate with content, product marketing, and website teams to deliver SEO excellence across all digital assets.

Optimize content using structured data (Schema.org, FAQs, How-to, etc.) to improve visibility in SERPs and featured snippets.

Coordinate with the website team to execute on-site SEO improvements in WordPress, including architecture, metadata, and crawlability fixes.

Act as the primary user of BrightEdge (our key SEO tool), leading the adoption of its advanced capabilities for SEO reporting, content insights, and competitive benchmarking.

AI-Powered Search Optimization (Innovation Layer)

Lead the strategy for optimizing Lansweepers visibility in LLM-powered search tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini).

Build and implement prompt frameworks and AI knowledge optimization techniques to influence how our brand is interpreted by generative AI.

Support the development of structured content designed for LLM parsing, AEO, and E-E-A-T principles.

Partner with our AI Enablement and Content teams to align messaging with the evolving behaviors of AI language models.

Drive website improvements (e.g. : schema markup) that enhance Lansweepers representation in AI discovery contexts.

Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI search experiences and evaluate opportunities for experimentation and innovation.

Cross-Functional Enablement

Align with content teams on editorial planning and prioritize content production that supports both SEO and AI visibility.

Work alongside website stakeholders to deploy scalable search enhancements.

Champion a data-driven culture by training internal teams on evolving search trends and usage of BrightEdge and other SEO / AI tools.

Analytics & Optimization

Monitor SEO and AI performance using platforms including GA4, BrightEdge, Google Search Console, and LLM visibility tools.

Create dashboards that track progress on organic growth, AI search visibility, and keyword share of voice.

Run A / B tests to validate content and structural optimizations for SEO and LLM performance.

Ideal Profile & Qualifications

46 years in core SEO strategy, with strong executional expertise.

Deep familiarity with advanced analytics, competitor insights, and content performance modules.

Deep familiarity and daily working knowledge of BrightEdge is a strong plus point.

Experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, IT asset management, or IT operations is a plus.

Understanding of LLMs, AI prompt optimization, and the fundamentals of AI-driven search experiences.

Proficiency in HTML, structured data (JSON-LD), and CMS systems (especially WordPress and Pardot).

Experience with tools like Screaming Frog, Clearscope, MarketMuse, and AI search plugins is beneficial.

Self-driven strategist with hands-on execution skills, capable of delivering measurable search growth.

Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex SEO and AI concepts into cross-functional collaboration.

KPIs

Growth in high-intent Organic and AI-driven traffic and conversions.

Increase in visibility across LLM platforms and share of voice in AI-generated content.

Number of content pieces optimized for AI / LLM discovery.

Growth in featured snippet wins and indexed structured data coverage.

AI assistant presence and brand visibility benchmarks across search ecosystems.
