Position Summary

The Bookkeeper will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records for our clients. This position involves managing day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting the firm's CPAs and tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update general ledgers and financial records for multiple clients
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with payroll processing and related filings
  • Support tax preparation and audits as needed
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and firm policies
  • Communicate with clients regarding financial data and documentation

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a public accounting environment
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting software
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
