We are hiring a remote Research Grants Payment Collector to work for an oncology research institute in California. If you're looking to grow your career in a community-based company apply below!
- Ensure that Sponsor / CRO is providing payment per the terms in the clinical trial agreements
- Generate accurate and timely invoices for sponsors based on contractual agreements
- Utilize systems and data to track achievement of clinical trial activities (visits, procedures, invoiceables items, etc)
- Perform reconciliations of contractual activities against payments received to date to confirm outstanding balances
- Track Sponsor and CRO transactions, compare Sponsor / CRO budget against invoices created in the system and reconcile Sponsor / CRO trackers against AR aging reports
- Communicate with Sponsors and CROs to follow up on overdue payments, resolve billing disputes, and provide payment reminders
- Review and analyze billing discrepancies, resolve issues, and implement preventive measures for future occurrences
- Assist in the development and improvement of billing processes and systems to streamline operations
- Identify and escalate potential collection issues to management, recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risk
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collections activities, customer interactions, and payment statuses
IF YOU HAVE :
- 2 years working in collections for pharmaceuticals
- Firm understanding of clinical trial agreements and budgets
- Basic understanding of clinical trial protocols (eligibility criteria, study design, investigational products, SOPs, etc)
- Experience with clinical trial tracking and invoicing systems (Excel, CRIO, Quickbooks, etc)
- Bachelors degree
