General Manager
As a nationwide hotel management company, BSHS is committed to providing outstanding service and operational excellence across a diverse portfolio of hotels. We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead one of our hotel properties to new levels of success.
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue, and leading a dedicated team to achieve operational and financial success. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a commitment to the highest standards of hospitality.
Key responsibilities include :
- Leading and managing day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure outstanding service and smooth functioning of all departments.
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance guest satisfaction, and optimize operational efficiency.
- Setting and achieving financial goals, including managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Maintaining a high standard of guest service by implementing service standards, addressing guest feedback, and resolving issues effectively.
- Recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team to ensure excellence in service and operational standards.
- Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with local business partners, the community, and other stakeholders.
- Fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment that aligns with company values and promotes employee engagement.
Qualifications include :
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager role.Proven track record of managing profitable hotel operations and achieving financial goals.Strong understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial reporting.Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment with changing demands.Commitment to providing exceptional guest service and exceeding guest expectations.What we offer :
