Technical Account Manager (Consultative Engineer) | MSP | Downtown Los Angeles, CA
Salary : $105K base + bonus
Schedule : Monday–Friday, HQ-based with limited client site visits
Join a fast-growing MSP / MSSP in Downtown LA as a Technical Account Manager and own a book of clients while driving IT strategy, QBRs, and standards alignment - without being stuck in tickets. This is a consultative, client-facing role with hands-on technical guidance as needed and clear growth opportunities toward a vCIO or Team Lead role.
What You'll Do
- Manage ~10–20 client accounts, leading QBRs, roadmaps, lifecycle planning, and security posture reviews
- Drive adoption of cloud, security, backup, and compliance standards (M365 / Azure, MFA, EDR, SOC / SIEM)
- Identify opportunities for add-ons, projects, and upsells; collaborate with Sales / PS for delivery
- Handle limited escalations and triage, mentoring PS / Infra teams and translating business needs into technical solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and strategic plans for clients
What You Bring
