Our Team is looking for a Floor Manage r. They will be responsible for ensuring that all guests’ expectations are consistently met by exceeding The Press Club Grill Standards.

The Floor Manager is responsible to ensure that the expectations of all guests are consistently met by exceeding The Press Club Grill Standards.

There must be a constant floor presence to be able to anticipate the guest’s needs but also to be available to assist and instruct staff.

The floor managers will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of staff relations. The position will be participating in hiring, training, and scheduling staff.

JOB OVERVIEW :

• Assist in interviewing, hiring, training front of house staff
• Scheduling front of house staff
• Maintain a consistent presence on the floor for all shifts and departments.
• Ensure that all VIP guests’ expectations are being communicated to all and followed thru.
• Maintain an ongoing relationship with concierges and neighboring hotels
• Continuous staff training to ensure that all staff maintain The Press Club Grill standards.

Education, Certification, Experience

• 2+ years management experience in a New York City Fine Ding / high volume restaurant
• The ability to make decisions at a moment’s notice
• Experience in managing a large staff
• A strong passion for food and beverage with an emphasis on hospitality driven service
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Must have a high level of flexibility, including a willingness to work weekends, holidays and
• additional hours when necessary
