We are seeking Quality Control Specialists to use Field Maps Data and photographs to verify that the Telecommunications Pole Inventory Fielding was done correctly, that all data in the required schema was collected, identified, and input correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure field walkout survey accuracy in accordance with customer and industry specifications prior to submission to customer.
  • Communicate errors in field walkout survey to technicians.
  • Use Field Maps & Photos to verify Telecommunications Pole Inventory fielding is correct and report any additional missing data to Project Manager.
  • Pole count data reports
  • Train fields on pole data capture and reconciling pole data.
  • Adhere to timely project turnaround based on Project Manager schedules.
  • Meet with Project Managers to discuss project schedules, issues, and individual quality issues.
  • Work with the Project Manager to resolve project and quality issues.
  • Responsible for setting up projects in the QC database, Quickbase
  • Creates and promotes the company image through exercising sound and ethical business practices as related to employees, the public and customers.

This includes ensuring that service and quality provided to customers is superior to that of our competition.

  • Ensure confidentiality of company information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Project Management.
  • Work with offshore employees / training

Qualifications we are looking for

  • 1+ years of telecommunications experience in mapping and fielding required.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, with strong Excel skills, knowledge of Geo Information Systems (GIS).
  • Ability to learn Field Maps and new systems as required of the projects.
  • Knowledge of human-computer interaction principles (K0036).
  • Sets procedures throughout data extraction process.
  • Ability to handle sudden priority shifts and be able to switch tasks easily without gaps in productivity and with an understanding attitude.
  • Able to effectively communicate both written and verbal, prepare reports and plans.
  • Willingness to learn; adapts and accepts increased responsibility.
  • Highly responsible, resourceful, accurate, dependable, and self-motivated.
  • Must be flexible, and willing and able to work outside normal business hours as necessary.
  • Leadership with skills to positively influence others, collaborate with teammates, communicate on the level of others, listen, and understand people in circumstances common in the workplace.
  • The ability to embrace corporate values, understands the company mission, and exemplifies CCI leadership behaviors.

Shift isfull-time, 40 hours per week minimum, Monday Friday, within the hours of 8 : 00 am 5 : 00 pm CST. Further schedule determinations TBD by hiring teams.

Must be flexible, and willing and able to work outside normal business hours as necessary.

Additional Information

  • 10% Travel Required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Company vehicles and necessary tools will be provided.
