About the role

The Staff Full Stack Engineer leads technical strategy, architecture, and execution for Pear Suite's platform. This role serves as a senior technical authorityowning complex projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and quality of the product. The Staff Engineer partners cross-functionally to translate business goals into sustainable technical solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable and reusable software systems.
• Drive technical vision and best practices for the engineering team, influencing standards across the stack.
• Evaluate and select technologies that align with long-term product goals.
• Own end-to-end implementation of complex initiatives, from concept through production.
• Perform and lead code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, promoting continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (GCP) for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product to translate business needs into robust technical plans.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
