Job Posting : Benefits Administrator – Retirement
Schedule : Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Hybrid after training
Summary / Objective
The Benefits Administrator – Retirement is responsible for the administration of benefit plans and programs, including group health and welfare plans, 401(k), non-qualified retirement plans, and equity plans. This role ensures compliance with all applicable regulations while delivering high-quality support and service to employees.
Key Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and resolve employee benefit inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
Administer benefit plans in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ERISA, DOL, IRS, ADA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
Manage 401(k) and non-qualified retirement plan eligibility, contributions, loans, and distributions.
Work with record-keepers to reconcile contributions and prepare documentation for wire transfers.
Support data collection and interact with auditors for annual Form 5500 filing, compliance testing, and related audits.
Perform periodic audits of HRIS benefit records to ensure accuracy in deductions, eligibility, and vendor data transfers.
Maintain accurate documentation of employee and HR interactions in a ticketing system for tracking and reporting.
Assist with communication of benefit programs, including open enrollment and plan updates.
Requirements - Education & Experience
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience : 2+ years of recent experience in benefit plan administration with a focus on retirement plan compliance and 401k support.
Pay Details : $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
