Special Education Behavior Technician
The following attachments are required to be considered for this position : - Letter of Introduction - Resume - Three (3) CURRENT letters of recommendation - Copy of School Transcripts The qualifications to be considered for this position are as follows : High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND forty-eight (48) college units, an AA degree, or ability to demonstrate college-level skills by passing the Paraprofessional proficiency test Two years experience working with students with special needs and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
Possession of a valid California driver's license and the ability to qualify for District vehicle insurance coverage. A valid First Aid and CPR certification issued by an authorized agency.
The offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of pre-placement medical examination, including drug testing and fingerprint clearance.

This position is a 10-month position at 40 hours per week. Health and welfare benefits are provided to the employee at no cost.
