VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING

About the Position

Designing infrastructure, grading sites, mitigating stormwater flows you’ve done it all well. You’ve even mentored some of the next generation of engineers.

Main-Land is a fun loving, close knit, consulting firm that has a small company feel but has the horsepower to tackle large scale private and public sector site civil engineering and development, land planning, water and wastewater utilities, road and infrastructure projects, and a whole lot more.

This position is offered at either our Livermore Falls or Falmouth, Maine office.

Main-Land provides full-service consulting to our clients, including surveying, environmental mapping and study, geotechnical engineering, site civil design, permitting, bidding and construction management, and inspection.

A note from the outgoing Vice President of Engineering

Preferred certifications and skills include :

  • Maine Professional Registration or ability to obtain registration within 6 months
  • 8 12 years of experience - management lead responsibility for site civil and development projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, HydroCAD, Word, Excel, digital file management, software-based project management, and other computer-based tools.
  • Regulatory permit process and public presentation experience
  • Construction administration and inspection field experience

Pay and Benefits

Competitive salary will be negotiated with successful candidate based on applicable experience and skills. Signing bonus may be offered for prompt acceptance of offer.
