Job Description :

As a Bookkeeper at our client, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks including but not limited to :

Recording financial transactions in QuickBooks Desktop with precision and efficiency.

Preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Performing general ledger reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of account balances.

Generating and analyzing financial reports to provide insights into company performance.

Managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections.

Conducting bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow to optimize financial stability.

Assisting with the preparation of tax returns and supporting documentation.

Collaborating with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and adhering to data security protocols.

Qualifications :

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Proven experience 5 working as a Bookkeeper or similar role.

Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and other accounting software.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

Certification as a Bookkeeper or willingness to pursue certification is a plus.
