Material Handler / 1st Shift

The Material Handler will be responsible for adhering to safe practices for pulling stock, order staging, and production and warehouse material movement while ensuring accuracy of these movements. The Material Handler communicates directly with cross-functional teams to ensure sufficient and correct parts are presented for delivery throughout the production floor.

Job Responsibilities :

• Safely maneuver and handle materials coming to and from the production site.
• Adhering to the Custom Trade Partnership Against Terrorism guidelines for material movement in and out of the facility.
• Systematically receive or ship parts from supplier and / or customer.
• Provide material handling services for production plant.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory by adhering to SOPs.
• Escalate nonconformances to the team coordinator or team leader.
• Complete timely and accurate updating of SAP system material information.
• Perform accurate electronic scale and hand counts.
• Other tasks appointed by supervisor.
