Job Title :

  • Talent Program Specialist Annual Base Salary : DOE, $76,000-$100,000 along with bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package Location : Los Angeles, CA (Onsite) Our Mission Formerly known as the Ellison Institute of Technology Los Angeles, the Ellison Medical Institute strives to spark innovation, leverage technology, and drive interdisciplinary, patient-centered research to continually enhance health, reimagine and redefine cancer care, and transform lives.   Established in 2016 as a medical research and development center, the Institute features innovation labs for artificial intelligence and molecular analytics and was among the first organizations to vertically integrate the interdisciplinary study and treatment of disease.

  • Job Summary The Ellison Medical Institute is seeking a motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented Talent Program Specialist to join our Human Resources team.
  • This role supports the full spectrum of talent initiatives—from attracting and engaging top talent to ensuring a seamless onboarding experience—while also contributing to strategic programs that strengthen our workforce and shape our organizational culture.
  • With 1–2 years of relevant experience, the Talent Program Specialist will source and evaluate candidates, coordinate interviews and onboarding, maintain recruitment data, and assist in the execution of talent development initiatives.

  • Job Accountabilities :

  • Support Recruitment Logistics : Partner with hiring managers and talent program to ensure interview processes run smoothly by coordinating related logistics such as interview materials, candidate availability, and communication timelines.
  • Facilitate Clear and Consistent Candidate Communication :

  • Act as a primary contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates, answering questions, and ensuring all interactions reflect the organization’s professionalism and values.
  • Assist Talent Acquisition Efforts :

  • Help source and screen applicants, prepare and post job announcements, and provide input on candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and compensation alignment.
  • Coordinate Onboarding Processes :

  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, track onboarding documentation, and collaborate with HR, IT, and hiring departments to ensure readiness for new hires’ first days.
  • Contribute to Talent Programs & Projects :

  • Support initiatives such as internship recruitment, early-career pipelines, employee events, and employer branding campaigns.
  • Maintain Accurate Data & Reports :

  • Update applicant tracking systems, monitor recruitment metrics, and compile reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide Administrative & Event Support :

  • Assist with the planning and execution of hiring events, trainings, and other HR initiatives, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with policies.
  • ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Required Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field, demonstrating strong analytical thinking and comprehensive reasoning skills essential for effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Required Experience :

  • 1–2 years in human resources, talent acquisition, or administrative support—preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth, or mission-driven environment where priorities shift and adaptability is essential.
  • Required Skills :

  • Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills; proficiency in ATS / HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; proven ability to navigate evolving priorities, adapt with agility, and maintain accuracy in a dynamic setting; demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information.
