What you'll do :
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in Caterpillar equipment and more
- Perform repairs and maintenance in the shop and field
- Rebuild and overhaul major components according to manufacturer specifications
- Assist with minor welding, fabrication, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Attend training classes and maintain required certifications
- Uphold safety standards and adhere to company policies
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Contribute to a collaborative and results-oriented team environment
Physical Demands :
The job requires various physical activities including but not limited to walking, lifting, reaching, climbing, and working in diverse environments.
What you'll bring :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- PC skills
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days)
- Experience with hand tools and a willingness to provide your own
- At least 2 years of experience in equipment repair (5 years preferred)
