Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Operating Room Department. Establishes and maintains effective, cooperative working relationships with nursing staff, medical staff and other departments. Assumes responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Director. Considers ages of patients when fulfilling patient care responsibilities. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possess knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
